About the Finance Degree Program

On Campus

The finance degree program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney equips students to be skilled managers of financial assets, able to steward and grow the resources in their care. Foundational courses in business administration teach students core principles in economics, accounting, statistics and more, with specialized courses in topics like financial statement analysis, investments and portfolio management giving students a well-rounded, sought-after skill set.

As a finance major, you’ll benefit from an AACSB-accredited program and take courses from faculty with real-world business experience who believe that hands-on learning is integral to setting students up for success in the business world.

Rather than relying solely on online simulators, students gain real-world investment experience before they graduate though the Bauhard Investment Program Fund, managing actual investments alongside faculty in a classroom setting.

AACSB Accredited
